With that last 32-bit one in \Windows\SysWOW64 instead back to not being able to find that DLL. We are however again only at "Can not correctly start program (0xc000007b)". After downloading from that same site that FatBerta mentioned the following to \Windows\System32,Īpi-ms-win-core-console-l2-1-0.dll (64-bit, ver. With the 64-bit api-ms-win-core-console-l2-1-0.dll placed in \Windows\System32 the error changes to now point to a missing api-ms-win-core-io-l1-1-1.dll.
I did notice from your video the to me unintuitive step of placing a 64-bit DLL in System32, which I may have not done before, so thought I'd retry and it in fact momentarily seemed to be making progress. Other than that it is a less concise version of what FatBerta had also already advised and which did not work for me and apparently fanboi.
Just cause 3 steam api dll windows 10#
I will let you know if it works.Note that your video is about Windows 10 and that I assume this specific problem to not be present on 10. Originally posted by CroNickRanger:Re-downloading it now.
Just cause 3 steam api dll windows 7#
With either the 32-bit or 64-bit version, placed in either the game-directory or in \Windows\System32, the message of the DLL not being found merely turns into (translated back into English) "Can't correctly start the application (0xc000007b)" while reverting back again to the "Missing DLL" message with either version placed in \Windows\SysWOW64.įrom the posted link it seems that JustCause4.exe should've not been linked directly against that/those DLL(s) in the first place should've linked against MinCore.lib or MinCore_Downlevel.lib (no idea which) which would've made the calls on Windows 7 end up simply in KERNEL.DLL or NTDLL.DLL.Ĭertainly it seems to be the case that the missing DLL is nowhere to be found in anything downloadable from Microsoft which frankly even if grabbing the DLL from some semi-random website would have worked means they'd still need/want to do something.īut well, in this/my case it does as said unfortunately not work anyway.
Unfortunately I had in fact already tried that/similar, and just now re-did using your specific link, but this does not work for me.
